Avast, there be counters!

Terry our designer TRIED to prepare us for the agony of the "countertop wait." She told us over and over again that the first three weeks would move FAST but after that there would be a several week project hiatus while the countertops were being made.

"No problem," we said with a shrug, "we've waited this long, what's a couple of more weeks?" Little did we know. The first three weeks DID zoom by and we thought for sure the project would be completed in no time. But then the mysterious guys from "CounterIntelligence" came in and measured for our new counters and...

All activity ceased. For a long time. And we got worried. Real worried. EVERY day we would come home with expectations and... nothing.

BUT THEN, JUST when things were at their darkest, when the skies were gray and the air was dank, JUST when we thought that HomeExpo had abandoned us and snuck out of town in the middle of the night like the Colts, JUST when we were in the absolute depths of despair... THE COUNTERTOPs magically appeared!

Yes, the wonderful, beautiful, countertops were installed and boy do they look good. Life is good, the sun is shining, the air is pure, and who cares about the Colts. We also got our stovetop and sink installed as an added bonus. The project lives! Some pictures follow... :)
